 Lori Greiner is an American jewelry designer and reality television judge with a net worth of $150 million. Lori Grenier, a self-made inventor and inventor has also become an entrepreneur owns over 700 items. She has around 120 U.S. patents and other international patents. Lori played the role of "Shark" in the tv show, "Shark Tank". She was born in Chicago on December 9, 1969. Greiner grew up in Chicago's Near North Side of Chicago as the daughter of an estate agent and psychologist. At the age of eight, old, she was separated from her parents. The B.A. was awarded to her. in communications , with a particular focus on journalism from Loyola University Chicago. In college, she worked at the Chicago Tribune. In her initial plans, she wanted to become a playwright. She made and sold costume jewelry.In the mid-90s, Lori Greiner designed a plastic organizer to hold up to 100 earrings. The organizer for earring storage was purchased from J. C. Penney prior to the Christmas season, and quickly became a huge success. Greiner was able to get a contract signed with JC Penney in her first six months in business. Within a year, she was selling her items on television and during her debut appearance on TV, she sold 2,500 organizers for earring studs in just two minutes. Her earring organizer went on to make an estimated $1 million.
