MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. He's made major inroads globally to Latin pop. Una Lady Como Tu, the song that he released in 2016, received the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for Favorite Song. His debut album ADN was released through La Industria Inc., an Medellin-based Sony distribution company. It reached the number 8 spot in the Top Latin Albums chart. Following that year, he teamed up with Ozuna for the creation of Vaina Loca which reached number five on the Top Latin Albums chart. In the year 2020, he worked with Noriel on Mala Influencia and dropped the album Dopamina the next year. Later in 2021 he performed an duet with TINI's smash streaming track Maldita Foto. The smash hit La Bachata from 2000 was made available in 2023. Turizo came from a family of musicians his mother and older brother are musicians. In his interviews, he's described participating in music as compulsory. As a child studying guitar as well as the saxophone. Though his original career plan was becoming veterinarian but his brother Julian encouraged him to start learning to sing with the Cuban. It changed his entire life.
